The Basketball has only been available for purchase once in the history of Club Penguin. This was in the Snow and Sports Catalog between June 2008 and November 2008, and it would cost penguins 300 coins. It was only available to Members. The Basketball has also been unlockable, in the 3rd and 7th Editions of the Treasure Book.
